EnergyFunders, LLC and EF Funding Portal, LLC (together, "EF," "we," "us," "our" or the "Company") operate the website located at Energyfunders.com (the "Site").  We connect entrepreneurs ("Fundraisers") who operate, found, or start energy-based businesses ("Companies") with people who may be able to provide financing, advice and other support to those Companies ("Investors"). Among other things, EF offers web-based tools.  EF also provides supplementary materials that educate both Fundraisers and Investors about the nature of entrepreneurship, the process and perils of investing in startup companies, investing in businesses, and "crowdfunding" – the funding of a project or venture by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people. The services, features, content or applications that may be offered from time to time by EF in connection with the Site and/or EF’s business are collectively referred to as the "Services."

This website privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how EF, EF Advisor LLC, and affiliates (collectively, "EF," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and share information about users of our websites, including Energyfunders.com and blog.Energyfunders.com, and associated services (collectively, our "Website"). Please note that we do not store your payment card information, but we do store other financial information. If you choose to add an investment entity to your profile, we will also collect information about the entity.

We also share your information with other users when you send or receive direct messages from other users. Affiliates, Banks, and Partners. In order to provide the services on our Website, we may share your information with our affiliates and third parties, such as banks, portfolio companies, investment banking firms, accountants, and similar entities.

Service providers.

We use service providers to provide certain services to us, such as analytics services, fraud detection, payment facilitating, and advertising and marketing services. We only provide our service providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services.
