If you happen to be the type who enjoys all the great sitcoms on HBO, you know all about a little one called Silicon Valley, which offers a gentle spoof of all things technology-related.
Then, you also know about TechCrunch Disrupt, a sort of mega-pitch competition for start-ups.
The joke on Silicon Valley is every single tech company pitching anything utters the phrase “and we’re changing the world, because” or some variation thereof.
By the way, HBO, we were just kidding. We love that HBO decided to embrace tech and create a stand-alone streaming service. Keep people cutting those cords!
